Three things that make CodeBuddy different

Any provider, any model

Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, DeepSeek, xAI Grok, Qwen, GLM — plus local via Ollama, LM Studio, Docker, and OpenRouter. Switch in Settings; no reinstall. Provider failover is built in.

A real deep agent, with review gates

Built on LangGraph + deepagentsjs — a genuine plan → act → verify loop, not autocomplete. Nine specialist subagents. Diff review gates every write.

Safe by construction

Modal approval on every shell command and destructive write. Sandboxed user scripts. Three permission profiles, catastrophic patterns denied in all three.
